At launch, Cosmos is available in Hyogo Prefecture, excluding the Tajima area (Toyooka, Yabu, Asago, Kami, Shin-onsen) and the Awaji area (Sumoto, Minamiawaji, Awaji). If you live elsewhere, you cannot request for yourself yet, but you can request on behalf of family living in the service area (the helper visits their address). You can also register in the app to be notified when it reaches your area. We will expand step by step.

The service fee ranges from JPY 100 to 5,550 depending on the category and the work (time-based and per-item categories vary by content). Adding the wellness-check option (a photo report on how they are doing) to a request on behalf of family adds JPY 300. There are no extra charges such as a travel fee. For shopping, you hand the cost of the goods to the helper in cash at the in-person greeting (hand over a little extra and take the receipt and change back on the spot). Your card is charged only the service fee plus a cash handling fee of 3% of the receipts you approve.

The service fee is card-only: a card authorization is placed when the match is established (when a worker accepts your request), and the charge is captured on completion. For requests made on behalf of family, if you do not confirm within 10 minutes of the helper reporting completion, it completes automatically and is charged (so a request made for family who live far away does not stay in limbo when the report goes unnoticed). For shopping, only the cost of goods is handed to the helper in cash at the in-person greeting (you take the receipt and any change back on the spot). In that case your card is charged the service fee plus a cash handling fee of 3% of the receipts you approve.

In-person start and completion are required, and we support safety with identity verification, reporting/blocking, and operator support. The address is hidden automatically once a job is completed. Note that the operator does not provide insurance or compensation; property damage or injury is resolved between the parties involved (at your own responsibility).

Cosmos is for people aged 18 or over, whether requesting or working. On top of that, you can register as a worker once you have passed the first 31 March on or after your 18th birthday — the age at which high school ends. High-school students cannot register.

No. We use passwordless sign-in via Apple / Google, or an email magic link — just open the link in your inbox. No password is ever created or stored, so there is nothing to forget or leak.

Please enter it accurately down to the building and room number. Your registered address becomes the visit location. Your address is shown to the helper only after they accept your request — before that, they see only an approximate distance. It is hidden automatically once the request is completed. If it is wrong, the helper may be unable to arrive, and a cancellation fee (scaled to progress) or similar charge may apply.
