Parental Consent (Valid Until Adulthood)
This consent sets out what a parent or legal guardian agrees to when a minor under 18 acts as a worker on Cosmos.
The Japanese version is the authoritative original. If there is any discrepancy in interpretation, the Japanese version prevails. This consent is governed by the laws of Japan.
Consent
The guardian gives consent to the minor registering and working as a Cosmos worker, providing services in person, and complying with the Service's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. This consent is valid until the minor reaches adulthood (age 18). Individual consent for each instance is not required.
How Remuneration Is Received (Account in the Minor's Own Name)
Remuneration for the minor's work belongs to the minor and is received by the minor into an account in the minor's own name. The guardian does not receive the remuneration on the minor's behalf.
Under the payment provider's (Stripe's) terms, for a person under 18 to hold a payout account, an adult parent or legal guardian must be registered as the representative of that account, and the guardian must also agree to be bound by the Service's and the payment provider's terms. As the representative, the guardian is responsible for the procedures carried out in that account and for compliance with those terms.
Method of Contact With the Guardian
The operator contacts the guardian primarily by email and uses the phone only in emergencies. The guardian shall keep the contact email address and phone number up to date.
Procedure to Withdraw Consent
The guardian may withdraw this consent at any time via the operator support window (the in-app "Contact support" chat or the contact listed on the official site). Once withdrawal is confirmed, the minor worker is stopped from taking on new jobs. If a job is in progress, the operator arranges for it to be completed safely or canceled.
Safety Considerations
The guardian shall supervise the minor to work with care for health and safety (preventing overwork, avoiding dangerous jobs, and observing the face-to-face rules).
